What Is Perimeter Protection?

Perimeter protection can be divided into two broad areas – fences and gates.
EPPA members are committed to provide a high quality solution meeting its customers specification, which is compliant with the latest European standards and industry requirements. Meeting European guidelines including an anti-corrosion and a five-year guarantee is the norm. Also a guarantee for 10 years or 100,000 cycles (whichever comes first) on gate functionality is widespread, provided that operating and installation instructions are followed and periodical maintenance is performed.
Gates produced by EPPA members comply with all national and continental legal requirements along with specific European directives. They are submitted for voluntary and independent type testing to ensure these standards are met.
EPPA members adhere to European rules on inspection, maintenance and repair of gates to prolong their life.
EPPA conducts internal perimeter protection training programmes for their member companies’ staff. In this way we provide them with regular updates on relevant technical advances and enable them to train their employees on all quality requirements.
