Perimeter Protection Applications
EPPA members produce and distribute products for a variety of applications, from sports & recreation facilities to high security sites. Application areas serve different purposes, and therefore need a range of protection solutions and security levels.
Industrial and high security sites often need related security systems (Intelligent Video/CCTV systems, card readers or Intrusion Detection Systems such as fence mounted detection systems, fences with integrated detection or infra-red beam detection). These are usually mounted above the mechanical perimeter protection and access protection measures.
For residential and sports & recreation sites a basic fence and gate may well suffice.
Temporary sites need temporary solutions, which differ greatly from permanent ones.
