Industrial Sites

Industrial areas often require quite high levels of perimeter security, firstly due to the volume of pedestrian and vehicular traffic and secondly to protect buildings and other assets from theft and damage through vandalism.

Many industrial sites are left unmanned during the weekend and are often situated in non-residential areas.

Some industrial sites take perimeter security measures on a business by business basis with each individual company installing and maintaining its own perimeter systems. Other industrial sites can take more of a collective approach to security. In these cases businesses can combine to install perimeter protection to a group of businesses. Measures can include boom barriers and bollards at the entrance of the joint location and also gates, turnstiles and fences.
