Boom barriers are used at industrial, high security installations, at parking sites and for rail & highways. They regulate the passage and control of vehicles / traffic.

Boom barriers consist of a barrier arm, a barrier holder and a support post. These parts can be made of (cladded and phosphate zinc) steel, stainless steel, glass fibre or (UV-resistant) powder coated aluminium.

Boom barriers can be operated manually provided that the frequency of opening is low, electromechanically for continuous action and hydraulic for vehicle passage and control.

The arm lengths of boom barriers can vary between 2 and 10 meters, and they need a free passage of 3.5 to 8 meters.
