Cantilevered sliding gates are used for industrial, parking and high security sites. They regulate the passage of vehicles and there are single and double cantilevered sliding variants.

Gate leaves and tubes of cantilevered sliding gates can be made of aluminium, steel or coated stainless steel profiles. The infill of gate leaves can be made of bar, welded mesh, chain link or can be fully plated.

Cantilevered sliding gates can be power operated (electromechani-cally) or manually operated. 

The free passage of this type of gate can vary from 2 to 15 meters and the height can vary between 1 and 2.5 meters.

The advantage of a cantilevered sliding gate over a sliding gate on rail is that it is not dependent on the road surface or road incline and needs limited foundation. It  guarantees maximum reliability in troublesome weather conditions such as ice and snow.
