Sliding Gates on rail are used at residential, utility, parking, industrial and high security sites. They regulate the passage of vehicles and there are single and double sliding variants.

Sliding gates are generally made of aluminium, coated galvanized steel or stainless steel. The in-fill of the gate leaves can be made of bar, welded mesh or can be full plated.

Sliding gates on rail can be operated manually or electromechanically.

The advantage of a sliding gate on rail over a cantilevered sliding gate is the small back-up area.

A sliding gate on rail requires a concrete foundation for the rail and consideration must be given to ensure that the gate back-up area has been accommodated.
