Chain link fence is a familiar sight along roads, railways, farmlands, nature reserves and sports grounds. It is a mature type of fencing made from wire which is still widely used because of the quality/price ratio.

Chain link fence can be made from various wire diameters: light type fence 3.0 mm heavy type fence 3.7 mm up to very heavy fences 4.7 mm. Chain link is available in a choice of finishes – aluminium, galvanized or PVC-coated. Posts are typically made from galvanized steel or aluminium.

Chain link fencing can have a 0.5 m to 3.0 meters height.
