Welded mesh panel fences are used in the leisure sector as well as for general industrial use, car parks, municipal buildings, schools, temporary sites and for sites that demand high security.  Height can vary between 0.6 and 6 meters.

Panel material is generally galvanized steel wire that is then powder coated to add anti corrosion protection. Panels can be double wire, single wire, flat bar or U-profile. There are a wide variety of panel sizes, mesh apertures and patterns available, as well as flat panels and profiled panels that incorporate pressed beam or ‘V’ profiles for added rigidity. 

Posts and base plates also are  galvanized and can be made of aluminium. The steel or aluminium fixings between the panels and posts are very important for the fences stability and security.
 
A welded mesh panel fence has a high degree of resistance to impact and vandalism. It has a longer lifetime and an improved aesthetic quality over more traditional fences.
